    A pub quiz in Shoreditch. Different teams. Ours lost; his didn’t, and he was insufferable about it.

    Amalfi

    Our first trip. A rented Vespa, one wrong turn, and the best lemon granita of our lives.

  • New Year 2026

    Marrakech

    He asked on a rooftop over the medina at midnight. She said yes before the fireworks finished — so we’re bringing you all back here.

Where to stay

  • Riad Zitoun — wedding rate

    In the medina, where Friday’s dinner is. Twelve rooms held until 15 March — quote “Sophie & Daniel”.

  • Les Jardins de la Palmeraie

    Ten minutes from the venue, with a pool. Good for families.

Fly into Marrakech Menara (RAK). Shuttles run from both hotels to every event and back — no taxis needed.

Gifts

You’re flying across a sea to be with us — that is the gift. If you’d like to add to our honeymoon in Japan, there will be a small box at the dinner.

Questions & answers

  • UK, EU and US passport holders don’t for stays under 90 days — just a passport valid for six months. Others: check with the Moroccan consulate.
